I’m bigger than you…

Agatha-Trunchbull

Does bigger mean better?

Miss Trunchball seemed to think so, however today in maths year 2 investigated the difference between centimetres and metres.

First, we predicted. There were very different predictions from; 20, 60, 80, 608, 102, 1000, and 1050.

Then we discovered that there are ONE HUNDRED centimetres (cm) in ONE metre (m).

100cm = 1m

Here are some photos of us using centimetre cubes to measure how many fit into one metre.
